Oh What a Dream

Eric

Have you ever been the right hand man to the right hand man of the president? What if that right hand man was Dan Aykroyd? And what if the president just so happened to be Abe Lincoln? Makes for one hell of a dream, not gonna lie.

On the tarmac in Chicago waiting to board Air Force One my boss is freaking out because we can;t find the president. Pacing around in hysteria in an over sized grey tweed suit he comes up with the idea of replacing the President. I of course make the suggestion of hey, we’re in Chicago, lets go get Abe Lincoln. I’m sure he’ll be cool with it.

So off we go to catch up with abe Lincoln. We find him in a very well kept Frank Lloyd Wright house just off the river. Inside hes sitter there in a rocking chair getting his feet massaged by a guy in a pink bunny suit. We explain the situation to Abe. He ponders for moment, and then suggests we have soup.

Dan Aykroyd  is sweating and pleads with Abe that we must go. He pulls out a map and points out we are hours behind schedule and we need to stop in California, Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky and Maryland.

Abe ponders for a moment more and says he’d like to visit California.

Once again aboard the jet Dan Aykroyd and I brief our replacement on what the visits are for. We hand him papers and diagrams only to get the response of “I’m 200 years old. I can’t read a damn thing. And get me some water.”

So we head out to the nearest Office Depot to have enlargements made, only to find out that they only do shrinks. Shit. Dan Aykroyd grabs a water cooler and walks out the door mentioning something about charging the government.

We finally get the enlargements made an head back to the plane. We go into office to find the bunny man rubbing a sleeping Abe’s feet again. He told us not to bother him now. Wake him when we get to California.

And then I woke up to my phone ringing. I really dont see this going anywhere decent anyway. Sorry for the uninteresting story, I just felt that  this was odd enough to share.
